MEDITATION: Accessing Your Own Wellspring of Nourishment (Parashat Chukat)

Moshe hits the rock to get water for the people. But later in the parsha, the people sing a simple song and invite a well to rise up, accessing water on their own (Numbers 21:17). This is part of a devlopmental process the people are going through of becoming more independent. In this meditation, we consider this process of empowerment and “rising up” in the Torah and in ourselves, and we experiment with connecting to our own inner wellspring of infinite nourishment.
