MEDITATION: She Still Stands (Passover)

In this meditation, we look first at the Haggadah phrase “my father was a lost Aramean” and consider our own feelings (and the inherited legacy) of lostness and hopelessness. Then we ask the question — what is our anchor in that lostness? And we turn to the Haggadah phrase vehi she’amdah, “it is she that stands,” exploring what still stands when we are feeling collapsed or lost or unmoored, feeling into the tree of life that stands inside us nourishing us and offering that to the lost and hopeless parts of us.
