POEM: The Blur of Words (Rosh Hashanah)

The blur of words
on these praying days
sung, recited, chanted, repeated
feels like the dizzying busyness of our swirling lives —
too many, too much, too fast
trying to catch our breath when then —
the shofar blows
it all away
and we know
only
the Wordless Sound
from beyond.

And we are still.

Wonderful website! There is so much here to read and contemplate.
Congratulations on putting it all together.
May you continue in the new year to provide us with food for thought.
