In this meditation, we look at the phrase – related to the construction of the Tabernacle – veshakhanti betokham, “And I will dwell in their midst,” considering what it would mean to feel that God does indeed dwell inside us, that our bodies are in fact a dwelling place, a house, for God’s spirit. We notice our own habitual desperate turn outwards and practice turning inwards instead to relax into the place of divine abiding calm that was planted in us long ago.
