In this meditation, we explore the movement from the High Holiday Season to the holiday of Sukkot, looking at it as a movement from lashuv, returning, repenting and changing to leishev, dwelling in the sukkah exactly as we are, dropping all the self improvement projects and just dwelling in God’s house, in this present moment, in this life as it is and as we are. We also experiment with becoming a sukkah, feeling that divine spaciousness inside us and being the host that welcomes all visitors, both external and internal.
